Shopping Centre La Zenia - Zenia Boulevard

Some time ago the rumours concerning the new shopping centre by the AP7 La Zenia exit suggested the complex was to be called Centro Comercial Las Playas and that this was put on hold due to financial reasons.
We can report that the construction, as you no doubt have seen, has started again. The centre is finally to be known as Zenia Boulevard and is being anchored by the shopping giant Alcampo.
In fact those of you that wished for a shopping centre close to home similar to those in Cartagena or Murcia will be please to know that there is expected to be a Primark, Alcampo, Leroy Merlin and Decathlon.
Opening is scheduled for 2012 and the whole La Zenia area will see a huge boost from this 175,000m2 shopping area.
